Your kitten will start exploring its new home after a few days. By utilizing toys and treats to make it a game, you can encourage your kitty to gradually leave its separate area each day. The locations of the other litter boxes, food bowls, and water dishes will also become familiar to your kitty. It might even make friends with your pets and claim a favorite location to sleep.
During this period, keep an eye on your kitten’s litter box habits and make sure they continue to eat and drink normally. It is a good idea to bring this sample to the veterinarian if you notice anything unusual, such as loose feces in the litter box. Even if your kitten seems healthy, you should still schedule a checkup around this time since it may require vaccinations, deworming, or just a regular checkup.
